Award and nomination information

The IEEE Caixin Sun and Stan Grzybowski Best Student Paper Awards are given biennially at each IEEE International Conference on High Voltage Engineering and Application (ICHVE). The conference is fully sponsored by IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) and consists of 10 individual prices of 500 US$ each. The prizes are funded by Caixin Sun Education Foundation of Chongqing University, China.

To qualify for the award contest, a candidate paper must be submitted by a full-time student (bachelor, master, doctorate or equivalent). The student should be the first author of the paper and present it personally at the ICHVE. The award is open for DEIS, IEEE and non-IEEE student members. Nominations of award candidates and assignments of the awards are made by the Award Committee of ICHVE conferences, based on the received paper review reports.
